Description
This vehicle is called a jeepney. It's the most common public transport for the masses in the Philippines. This was taken in the Sierra Madre mountain range and transport going to the city from there is rare so whenever there's a jeep they have no choice but to stay on the roof and stand on the rear bumper all the way to wherever they're going.Related content

usually, this is a common practice for those who are visiting a far away place & where people couldn`t afford to ride a bus.

@franticparamour : Jeepney Drivers are few, true! but lazy? i think not, they are in the undeveloped poor province here in the philippines and they are few because majority of natives there can't buy a jeepney, even with foods, they need to work all they just to have 1 kilo of rice or even less than 1 kilo. they are hardworking men and they can still smile and laugh! that's a true pilipino!
@mudwrestler : men! ang ganda ng shot mo pre! astig pa ng mensaheng ipinapahatid sa buong mundo! go pinoY!

that's a place where jeepney drivers are few, and too lazy. so people suffer. because in the philippines, especially in poor undeveloped areas, people do not want to sacrifice to make other people live. it's normal.

This brings back memories to when I visited The Philippines. Each jeepney is so unique with the driver's own decoration. It is such a wonderful sight compared to the dull identical buses and taxis of major cities. Your photograph is wonderful in showing the daily life of their people. Great work!
