Description
This vehicle is called a jeepney. It's the most common public transport for the masses in the Philippines. This was taken in the Sierra Madre mountain range and transport going to the city from there is rare so whenever there's a jeep they have no choice but to stay on the roof and stand on the rear bumper all the way to wherever they're going.

We have lots of these jeepneys in the city and I get to ride them from time to time but they aren't overloaded though.

I have been in several Jeeps and tricycles. My wife would rather kill herself than let me ride on the back though. I am 6'2" and stick out like a sore thumb over there. I'd rather ride on the top or the back any day than be stuck inside like a sardine. Actually I'd rather walk and that embarassed my wife as well. She tells me "only poor people walk!" lol I told her to shut the fuck up and and have some respect for at least her own people. anyway. I enjoy the Philippines when I am there and miss it when I am here in the U.S. The older I get the more useless convenience seems to be to me. I have been married to my wife for nearly 10 years. I believe to truly love someone from the Philippines you have to gain at least a little love for the Philippines itself.
