FINALLY DONE. *collapses*Finished this last night. 'Tis my new piece for the Six Seasons And A Movie art show. A bunch of my other Community artworks will be there too, for sale, in print form. If you are near LA you should check it out, there will be heaps of other more awesome artists' works on show, and also food nearby!
This started out as them painting the NBC logo...but then Dan Harmon got fired...and I no longer wanted this to be a love letter to NBC. So it's now a rainbow butt flag. Love letter to Greendale. And anuses. The end.
My sister last night: "Shirley's hand print is dangerously close to Jeff's crotch." Me: "Yeah." Me in my head: "ARE MY SHIPS SHOWING"

So.....much......character in this piece. I don't even know where to start. All I can say is, you have captured the entire essense of this show, it's main characters, and their relationships with one another, with this one illustration.

Thank you! The handshake thing - a few people have thought that, and it's a much better idea than what I was actually going for. I meant it to be that they've hand their hand on each other's hearts. The handshake didn't even occur to me. smh.

... I get it, Pierce touched Shirley's butt, and got slapped, Abed touched/slapped (it's a bro thing) Troys back, and got pushed/patted on the back, Annie and Britta were, you know, shoulder to shoulder, that friends do in those group photos, and Jeff was... Mauled, I guess, for being useless.
I love how Britta Britta'd, and made a handprint on the wall.
Also, there are only six colors in the NBC peacock, so Jeff was useless anyway... Poor guy (or not, whatever).

Hahaha thanks! It's actually a rainbow butt flag, not the NBC peacock - it started out as the peacock, but Dan Harmon was fired while I was drawing it and I kind of didn't want to do it that way anymore! But yeah it still holds a similarity.

This is a SUPER late reply and you probably already know this, but: yeah, Dan Harmon is showrunner again for season 5! Also Professor Duncan is gonna be back - he was in the first two seasons. Pierce won't be in it anymore, and Troy will only be in 5 episodes out of the 13 planned (Donald Glover wants to focus on his music career. Sadness!)

This is so great! You've captured their personalities so well. I really love that Jeff is, of course, texting, and then Pierce's foot in the bucket! Very clever to take the NBC logo and turn it into the Greendale flag!
