LOL I've been watching you for ages, and apparently I have this in my favourites already, but I randomly came across it again and it gave me a good chuckle.
One question I always ask myself when I watch this movie is how in the heck Mrs. Potts has a child so young, not to mention an entire cupboard filled with Chip's apparent siblings ROFL. Mrs. Potts got around!

Isn't it kind of conspicuous as to why? I think if we were to take this interpretation and look at the back story, it was kind of an ASS move of Lumiere to leave and not really do anything about it. (Like move on to other women...for instance)

Well, to be fair, we don't get an extensive insight into life in the castle, just a general idea. So who knows? Maybe Lumiere and Mrs Potts both agreed they were better as good friends, and that it was best to keep the truth of Chip's birth as secret as possible. So in that case of course Lumiere wouldn't always be there to look after Chip as a father figure. I like to think of him as acting as a sort of uncle. Plus everyone knows it's in Lumiere's nature to be a ladies' man; I'm sure Mrs Potts would have gone into whatever kind of relationship it was with him knowing that too. So she'd have to have accepted from the beginning that there would probably be others after her. I can't see them being in love or either of them wanting something serious. It would have just been a fling that produced a little accident.
But then there is the question of Chip's brothers and sisters... xD But I like to pretend none of them exist because their presence makes no sense to me to begin with.

Woooah. 0.0...If Chip's brothers and sisters were Lumiere's as well...well, lets just state it bluntly; Mrs. Potts and Lumiere would have had to have been EXTRA busy. The mental image isn't something I would want to think on, but I suppose there has to be some sort of idealogical explanation for the number of children she had. Anyhow, why don't you try writing a fanfiction story? It could be a one- shot fic. explaining the back story of how Chip came to be. Post it on fanfiction.net or one of the numerous fanfiction sites out there. I'm sure people would find it amusing...

But why would I write a fanfic about it when I've already done this comic? I think I've exhausted the funny I'd be likely to get out of the idea, myself. But if this comic inspired someone else to write a fanfic about it, I'd be happy, and I'd read it.

Ok. That's a suitable answer. By the way, love the dp. Avenue Q has been on my top ten favourite musicals list, ever since I saw it off broadway the year it came out.
