I found these bases: [link] and really liked some of the poses, so I drew this based on one.I'd certainly be scared out of my wits if a strange masked man abducted me from my dressing room, Angel of Music or not! Of course, Christine was wearing a corset at the time, so she probably couldn't have gotten very far if she tried to run. But still. If it was me in her place, Erik would have gotten a face full of pepper spray.
I never draw a background, for some reason. I don't know why. I think I'm just lazy. Or I'm worried that I'll ruin the picture. Either way, I need to start practicing backgrounds.

EDIT I've been looking at this, and now all I see are mistakes. It's male anatomy that trips me up. I haven't had as much time to practice, and it's very frustrating. I might go back and fix Erik's legs because frankly, his anatomy is absolutely terrible. ARG. One of these days I'll get better at it...

I disagree with you on Erik's anatomy. The clothes covering his skeletal frame are so elegant and those hipbones, jesus god...
So hot. Nothing wrong with it, at all. His hands might be a slight bit small, but that's really all I can see that's even maybe remotely the matter with his lovely anatomy <3.

Aw, thanks so much. I'm still learning (this pic is now fairly old) and there are certain aspects of anatomy that always get me, i.e., the hip area and the hands. But I'm glad you like it!

So do I! What a stange coincidence! He is so terribly sweet! Why, I say, I could invite the dear chap home and Papa would take an instantly to him, and I would happy myself stuffing Erik's mouth with delectable Pennsylvanian German treats to help the sweetheart gain a bit of healthy weight, as Papa keeps offering and filling his coffee cup to excessive amount-Papa is way too generous with people!
