Description
Erik was asked the following:1- Find the book nearest to you, go to page 18, find line 4:
"For nature crescent does not grow alone."
~Shakespeare's Hamlet
2- Stretch out your left arm as far as you can:
...Alright. Now what?
3- Without looking, what time is it?:
Midnight.
4- Now, what is the actual time?:
A minute past midnight.
5- When did you last step outside?:
Ah...it would have to be around two weeks ago. I was in dire need of a new dress shirt because Nadir knocked over a bottle of ink on the old one. Why he was snooping around my desk, I've no idea, but I promptly poured the entire bottle over his balding head. His scalp is still stained a faint gray.
6- Before you took this survey, what did you look at?:
The pile of unfinished compositions upon the writing desk.
7- What are you wearing?
A new dress shirt and trousers that are regrettably too large. I find it rather difficult to find clothing that fits properly. I'm a bit thin, you see.
8- Did you dream last night?:
No, as I did not sleep last night.
9- When did you last laugh?
When I caught sight of Nadir's stained head.
10- What is on the walls in the room you are in?:
Two gas lamps, several of my old sketches and blueprints, an antique mirror that I take great care to keep beneath a velvet curtain, and a framed photograph of Christine...
...that, curiously enough, she hasn't noticed is missing from her collection.
11- See anything weird lately?:
Aside from myself, I believe it is safe to say that this entire place is weird.
12- What do you think of this quiz?:
I think that it is regrettable that my life has come to answering pointless questions like these.
13- If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you do?:
A part of me yearns to travel once more. I suppose I would use my good fortune to do a bit of wandering across Europe, but I would inevitably return to Paris, as I have an obligation to my opera house.
Christine could also do with several new dresses. The poor thing is hardly supporting herself. A beauty such as her should not be content with anything ordinary. She needs a ball gown, something magnificent and bold that she would never think to wear, but that suits her splendidly.
But then, I never have pretended to know much about fashion.
14- Tell me something I don't know about you:
Once, when I was very small, I locked my mother out of the house. She could not regain entry for an hour and a half. It was great fun to watch. I learned several new obscenities that day.
15- If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
The mindset that a character is determined by appearance, rather than the treasure that lies within.
16- Do you like to dance?
I have never danced in my life. I do not exactly qualify for a partner..
17- Imagine your first child is a girl, what is her name?:
The gods would be cruel to unleash any offspring of mine into the world. I shudder at the thought of creating something like myself.
Christine. I would name her Christine.
18- Imagine you first child is a boy, what is his name?:
Again, this scenario is entirely unrealistic, but it can't get anymore unrealistic, so...
...I fancy the name "Charles." It was my father's name. I never met him, but I heard he was a remarkable man.
19- Would you consider living abroad?:
Absolutely. As I said, I have a perpetual case of wanderlust.
20- What do you want God to say to you when you reach heaven?:
"Just kidding! It was all a bad dream!"

I loved #14! Although Erik's father being named Charles sounds a bit off to me, considering Erik is french and Charles is a very very British name...

Nadir needs a hug. Poor guy. I'd hate to go around with a grey scalp.

Thank you so much!
Nadir needs an extended vacation to Fiji for putting up with Erik's crap...
