He grew ever closer, his unearthly presence enveloping my soul and drawing it nearer to his with a gentle tug. I could not have broken away, even if I had desired to. Closer he glided, and closer still until his gaze assaulted mine. His eyes were smoldering pools of molten gold, laden with conflicting emotions that raged like a storm beneath the glossy surface: guilt, torment, immeasurable sadness, but above all, a breathless disbelief, a sense of childlike wonder.

Slowly, as if fearing I might dissolve into a dream at any second, he placed his hands upon my neck. So light was his touch, so infinitely tender, that I imagined he was an illusion himself, as elusive and fleeting as the wind. I leaned closer, entwined in his grasp, and his voice breathed a reverent prayer that fell gracefully and with aching adoration from his lips.

Something about that song makes me feel so romantic and just plain wonderful. Definitely one of my all time favorites. It never fails to awe and inspire.
