Description He is the angel of Judgment who's name means "Friend of God."  I really enjoyed doing this one and I was very pleased with how it turned out.  I hope you all enjoy!

All traditions concerning? Catholic, Orthodox, Coptic (I don't know Syriac one yet)? I'd love to see depiction of lesser known angels from original Catholic Gregorian tradition, that is Oriphiel - Light of God, Simiel - I THINK Strenght of God, but lemme check my sources (he is an angel of death) and Zerachiel - Command of God .

Pardon, checked it already. Simiel or Semibel means Proclaimer of God, Streght was name exclusively of Gabriel/Gavriel . The other ones I was correct with tho.

He is one of Coptic Great 7 "Archangels", right?

He was particulary popular on the West, to the point he was banned with Simiel, Uriel and those other probably invented by charlatan/mystic Adalbert by that ignorant pope Zacharias (whereas Simiel and Uriel were named as one of the Great 7 "Archangels" by pope St. Gregory the Great in one of his sermons), Uriel's and other angels' tradition (amongst them the rest of 7 usually associated with Orthodoxy and Byzantine Catholics, but I was told by certain Priest that Byzantine Catholics also STILL revere angel Oriphiel on the Mount Athos, he also revealed what the name means as he was skilled within Holy languages of Christianity, I think ALL 5!) eventually got preserved in Iberian/Latinoamerican tradition thanksfully (wish I spoke Spanish and could read about it all)

I saw one icon of him in website of one Coptic Ethiopian Church website which I've saved, can send you if you're interested, but I believe it can be found on pinterest.
What striked me was similarity to depiction of Islamic angels, with their colourful wings, also the three-headed bird, I was told representing Holy Trinity.
