Very simple. On the top shelf are various books, some for research and others are for non-astronomy related pleasure. And, the bottom shelves are filled with items from a slew of makers, drivens, and other echos. Gems, teas, and things of the like. Usually, my traveling telescope is up there too, but...uh... I'm not sure where it is at the moment..."
