Description
New iPad painting, using SketchBook Pro app and Wacom Bamboo stylus.Started life as slightly different image and after some good advice by a good mate added some more colour and changed it up. Still not fully happy with the end result but the more I adjusted the more I lost it, so leaving it alone and moving on to the next........

This is relaxing to look at. I'm picturing an animated gif with this guy and his pilot cruisin slowly through the mellow depths, with this ( bit.ly/1mtiyZ7)Β playing on repeat.Β

thanks very much
the Bamboo's biggest positive attribute is the smaller nib, allows for greater precision due to you being able to view more of the painted area underneath it.
The long term life of the nib is questionable as I've already split one but I do give it some abuse, being able to replace them is a bonus as it saves having to buy a new stylus.

thanks for the feedback, came across the stylus by chance but only had those 'independent reviews' to go off...wondered what it's like in real life, glad they actually offer replacement nibs though

your welcome, I've created a PDF review of all the stylus I own including the Wacom. You can download it off my site if you want to read it? [link]
On the replacements, they cost around 4 euro's and you get 2 in a pack, the replacement that Wacom sent is still going strong (5 weeks now) and I've been hammering it every day, no signs of wear & tear yet.

Very eerie! I've been oogling the bamboo pen and touch. Basically looks like it emulates the functions of an iPhone/iPad. Will sure beat my Intuos 2 though, minus the tilt sensitivity which I never use anyway

Thanks buddy, I think you have the wrong Bamboo in mind thou.
The one I refer to is the stylus [link] the one for use on a capacitance screen (iPhone/iPad etc), the Bamboo Pen & Touch is a gfx tab.

I know to which you refer. I just think it's interesting that they're finally putting the functionality of an iPod/Pad screen into the regular bamboo. I sometimes catch myself touching the wacom wanting it to respond like a trackpad...it never does D:

ah sorry mate, I misread your comment.
Since getting the iPad and the huge enjoyment I've had from painting on it, its made me realise I need a Cintiq 21
