Hi Oeasis, thanks very much for the comment.
I guess everyone says the same thing with regards practise and that's just 'draw and paint daily'. But in order to make changes we (myself in particular) have to approach practise with a goal in mind, whether it's a daily challenge of just drawing a particular subject or forcing yourself to go outside your normal comfort zone.
The important thing is it has to remain fun and interesting, as soon as it loses it's appeal or becomes frustrating then change subjects.
My path to where I am today isn't as structured as I hope it is going forward lol, my background is analogue as digital art was a thing of science fiction. I picked it up around 2004 and spent a few frustrating years trying to find a method which both suited me and I was relatively happy with.
I just kept at it really, trying new methods and techniques and even now try mixing things up to keep me interested.
