My main purpose for purchasing was for doodling, I didnt think for one second it would have apps capable of producing great pieces of art, but it certainly is.
I use mine for reading books, interactive magazines, watching films, listening to my tunes, but its awesome for gaming if you like gaming too.

The release didnt have the 4.2 iOS which allowed multi tasking but thankfully we have that now [although I dont use it whilst painting]

There's tons of really interesting and cool things available for them nowadays, but for me its an awesome mobile digital sketchpad. The only thing is now I've experienced direct digital painting I now want a Cintiq, only thing is 12 or 21?

it certainly can, even in trad oils I do a similar method of base layer, contrasting colour values then I add the texture and finally refine and detail.

by the way... the whole shrimp on the barbie thing never really happens. its a myth... sorry to burst the bubble. ive never ever had a shrimp from a barbie nor have i been somewhere where its been happening. shocking i know

Thats ruined my 2010 now, no shrimps on barbies !!!!! I'm devastated, I was going to get a last minute flight just to sample shrimps on the barbie
When I worked in Korea they had a table top barbie in this one resturant and I witnessed a chap throw one on, cooked it till it was black then ate the lot :S
You should set the trend going before leaving for Canada lol
