This looks very much like the stepping stones at Hardcastle crags near Hebden Bridge.. Is this correct ?

Hardcastle Crags - that brings back certain memories of a very cold, muddy and drunken week masquerading as an art college trip – actually, the photo was taken in Lealholm - not far from Glaisdale where you took that photo of Beggars Bridge.
And talking of common haunts, I was most interested to see that you have some photos of the Victoria Tower in Almondbury. I grew up not far from there. In fact, the more I poke about in your gallery, the more places I recognise.

I keep meaning to go back to beggars bridge with the SLR but i tend to go over there when i'm out for a ride on the bike & won't take the SLR on the bike. Nice when you find someone else who likes the same haunts. I notice you've been to spite tower in Halifax. That's on my list of places to photograph but i keep driving past on my way to other places Have you been to Lumbs waterfall at Hebden Bridge ? Just seen some photo's of that & it looks a nice spot..

Oddly enough I am in Hebden Bridge on Saturday. I shall try to check the waterfall out.
You might like Rivington Pike near Bolton, there is a folly there that you could probably do justice to. Rivington Barn nearby is a popular biker's haunt - two birds with one stone you might say.

I was wondering about that. As it happens I didn't come anywhere near to taking any photographs, although I had plenty of ale and a couple of wines.
My friend purloined my camera inbetween pubs. The photo looks as drunk as I felt.
