I actually don't have much a problem with Ruby's canon design but I still thought she could use a bit more edge. Also, there are some details you wouldn't pick up on at a glance, like the heels of her boots being whetstones that she can sharpen her scythe on. Crescent Rose was also based on MadCatz Gamecube controllers bc I thought it would match with it being homemade in a fun way.
