There is a young mentally disabled guy in Belgium called Jerry who would dearly love to receive a card from different people all over the world. This is something that would give this guy a lot of pleasure and he would also get to see various places and countries which would be interesting for him and also a learning experience. I am therefore asking people to send a postcard (a drawing, a photo, or similar card) with a photo of your local area and a short greeting to Jerry at the address below:

You could even include him in your holiday address book, I have a tiny book with the addresses of people I send postcards to. Doing this would mean that he continues to receive cards from all over the world. His birthday is on the 15th December, so if you remember when the time comes, or would wish to make a note of the date, I am sure he would be so happy to receive birthday greetings too.

Perhaps you wonder fucking hell, why do I care?! In which case never mind!!! But if you care about people enough to make a difference to someone's life.... well then here is a chance to do that.

I discovered a message for this guy on hebbes.be. It is his nephew that asked for it as a birthday surprise. I was way to late for that but contacted the nephew asking if he would still like it and if he would enjoy it if they would come from all over the world. The nephew replied me saying he would love it. Hence why I am doing this.
