I've been binging Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends with my little brother lately and got very inspired to make an OC for the show.

Appearance: She's a skinny anthropomorphic cat with pastel pink fur. She wears black eye shadow, black chocker with a silver heart, pastel turquoise T-shirt with a pastel yellow skull with heart-shaped orbits, black leather jacket, lavender skirt, black and white striped stockings and pastel blue and white chucks. She almost always has a relaxed expression with her eyes half-closed.

Personality: She is friendly, polite and extremely chill. She is able to get along with different types of people and can even be nice and patient with those who are not that good of a person (like Terrence and Duchess) or very bothersome (like Cheese). But even she has her limits and will hiss and bear her claws when she comes across someone who really makes her mad (like Dylan).
She can make sassy remarks but they usually aren't meant to hurt or make fun of the person but rather to point out to them that they're doing something wrong.

She compliments her friends a lot and often they're perceived as flattery or flirting, but she's just being honest, and the reason why she says so many good things about her friends is because she genuinely sees the best in them, without disregarding their flaws.

History: Ruthie was created by two girls who are sisters - Dulcie Wonder, an 8 year-old who is really into cute things and pastel colors, and Melanie Wonder, a 13 year-old goth. Despite their difference in age and interests, the girls got along and came up with Ruthie together. She is an embodiment of the harmony of their opposite vibes, their strong sibling bond and their kind souls. Ruthie and The Wonder family lived happily, but at one point some guy at Melanie's school started to hit on and stalk the girl. The family tried to get a restraining order for him but the guy's parents were rich enough to get their son out of troubles. Ruthie couldn't take her family being hurt like that and the next time she saw the guy near Melanie again she started a fight with him, leaving his body cut and bruised. Melanie and Dulcie, who was with her sister at the moment, were both very shocked, so Ruthie, thinking they hate and afraid of her now, ran away. In a few days, she got the courage to come back home only to find that the Wonders were gone. There she found a note for her from which she learned that the family moved to another state to get away from Melanie's stalker and his family, that the girls still love her a lot and are thankful to her for protecting them and that they're are very sorry they weren't able to find her before the time they had to leave. Ruthie felt guilty that she got an idea they would ever think badly of her and sad because she didn't have a chance to even say goodbye to them, but relieved to know they are safe now. She was homeless for a while and wandered around within the state until one day she came to Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, where she found a new home and made many friends.
