Creepy tree. Check. Worm eye view. Double check. Fight it?...high tail out of here.
In the third game, aside from Wheel of Fate, this...tree is my second favorite boss. It may be a downright sitting duck but---gotta admit, it's "bark" is as worse as---every part of this tree. XD

I recently noticed that boss is sorta like Plant 42 from Resident Evil. Another game series involving zombies and genetic experiments.

They do look similar. Guess even trees are susceptible to 'zombifications' as much as any other living beings.

Some people don't like this boss because it's an immobile plantoid, but personally I think she's great (just guessing it's a female based on plant biology). The dark room and the creepy moans it gives off when you start shooting it. Great drawing by the way. Really captures the creepiness of the creature and the atmosphere of the Bio lab.

Oddly enough, I sometimes think this boss is the hardest because of so many shots this thing can take. Anyway great work.

Yeah. I'm sure the first thing every player notice is that the Sun's life bar goes down real slow. O.o

Since HOTD3 PC had it's own sounds file, so i replaced all with some hilarious voices '3' , i remembered the moment i fired at his tentacle head he yelled: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK ! XDĀ

I never know that it has a separate sound file.
I only remember that at the arcade, the Sun has a low growling sound. Pretty frightening on its own.

I played the arcade too, the screen of the machine was very dark that i couldn't see him clearly but that made the game more terrifying X3Ā

Yup, the settings in the arcade is too extreme. XD
I can barely see a thing---with only 3 lives at the corner.
