Experimenting using different brushes....and I tried to create an oil painting look....I hope you like it... ps I did change the scene by adding snow to certain areas. Photoshop CS4, Intuos 3 here is the the thumbnail [link]Related content

oh i can tell but yeah its stuff that i cant wrap my brain around getting even started. I have horrible depth perception, and lighting values are always off

Thanks, it took a little while but applying textures and certain brushes greatly quickened the pace to finish the scene. Glad you like it!...

Its pretty good, almost as good as Medieval Times, the theme restaurant, where they serve $12 plastic tankards of Guiness and you watch grown men pretend to joust in costume.
ALSO, why is there glass in that broke-ass window people didn't have glass windows back then. FACT.
No but seriously, this is beautiful. And I love how you can just feel the cold and damp.

Thanks....the trees in the background are a little too green but it looks better. I noticed you create graffiti...my younger brother (now 39)was very much into graffiti, breakdancing, Rapping, DJ, scratching records...LOL memories....anyways he is now working for Nickelodean making the bucks. well, keep practicing your art and hopefuly it will guide you to a good art career.

I think exactly in the same way - that the things that I do now should help me to be a good artist some day. And let me live by doing art. My elder brother was a bboy and writer too, so I know what that memories could looks like

thanks....I had alot of practice oil painting landscapes, stills and seascapes for many years....I glad you like it! sooner or later I'll start painting characters in my scenes...hmmm someday....lol...
