Just to let you guys know that I completely dislike the reboot of Ben 10. Most of the aliens are too humanoid and many of the classic aliens have redesigned poorly (like stinkfly). However given some time somethings from the reboot have grown on me, like the newer version of upgrade.

Now at first I disliked this version (and still do) for its various differences in its design compared to the classical upgrade. Like the fact that he’s purple but completely produces green lasers and jet blasts, that doesn’t not make any sense. And the fact that the one circle on his that used to make up the one eye on his face were also now on his shoulders, back of his hands, and knees. It made it seem like he had more eyes on his body. To also top it off, his voice changed too. But some aspects of it slowly grew on me. Like the new techno stripe and while I still prefer the original stripes I still think they would be cool as long as you had both kinds of stripes on him. And this idea of new pattern designs inspired me to do more with it when I made my redesign of upgrade.

now this is my interpretation of the reboot version. With some tweaks that I made to my liking.

now the first part was that I kept his form/shape the same. I thought it was blob like enough to keep the same.

I also added the circuitry stripes but I kept some of the strips from the original on certain parts of his body, like on the hands, feet, and head.

Now for his eye and the rest of the circles on his body, I made his eye similar to the eye of the 5 years letter upgrade. This was to make his eye different from the other circles and make it his one and only eye.

for his other colored parts I added circuitry patterns as I mean to give him more detail and stand out from other versions.
