she did start off with the elemental power of Earth, but once she discovered her True Potential, her powers evolved beyond what they once were. Rika is the first elemental master of Magma.
also she has a darker skin tone because most Cole fan art i've seen has Cole with a realistic and darker skin tone instead of the Lego yellow skin.
