Description
Designed and developed by the VBS TDC. A "Light" Tank Destroyer with a multiple layers of armor protection and spaced armor, for maximum crew protection capabilities. The design is heavily inspired by the PL-01 Tank. The hull and most especially the gun are both inspired by the PL-01. The Excaliber however mounts 135mm smoothbore high-velocity gun capable of firing deadly accurate shots at a great distance. Also adopting the same armor protection as the PL-01. But this used mainly as a second-line support and can be most effective when used as a sniper. The tank though isn't as maneuverable as the PL-01. And doesn't have the same mechanical aspects of it as well. Also the gun has to be loaded manually by a crew member. The 135mm is also capable of firing ATGMs.

The Ministry clearly needed a tank capable of mounting the 135mm smoothbore that could destroy tanks within a long distance, and so they willingly gave the contract to the VBS TDC to create a design also havinlow profile and graet armor protection. To minimize its weight to gain more speed and maneuverability they reduced the amount of thickness of the armor and layed out several layers of spaced and ERA armor platings. There even some ERA reactive armor inside it's spaced armor. But the only thing keeping it from achieving great performance is its 135mm smooth-bore main gun. Bith powerful and heavy at the same time. And so to keep up with the balance of speed and everything else, equipped it with 2x Multi-fuel gas turbine 300hp engines. Giving it greater power and acceleration. They designed the chassis off from the PL-01 because of how sleek and dynamic its size and functions are. Instead of fitting it with a 120mm, they mounted it with a more powerful gun to successfully destroy enemy tanks. Development started in the year 2015 and one protoype had been built three years after. Entered service in 2019 and only had participated mainly as defense. Only a few vehicles had been built for now...
