Equipping an advanced Fire and Control system for better gun characteristics
Hull armor
Front: 650mm (with reactive armor)
Sides: 270mm (with reactive armor)
Rear: 120mm (with spaced armor)
Turret armor
Front: 700mm (with reactive armor)
Sides: 500mm
Rear: 210mm
Also mounting a 130mm smooth-bore high-velocity tank gun for better firepower, with improved accuracy
It has a maximum ammo capacity of 48 shells
The gun is compatible with AP, HE, HEAT, HESH, HEAT,Β APDS, APCR shells
with a .50calibre M2HB machine gun on the top of the turret (same one equipped on the M1A2 Abrams)

I have no complaints about the design but if you're using a HEAT and HESH, pick one and roll with that. HESH can smash 1st generation tanks that don't use composite armour because they rely on shock waves upon impact. HEAT can burn through 1st generation tanks but suffer when facing composite armour of 2nd generation tanks. HESH cannot cause internal explosions while HEAT can cause internal explosions due to the intense heat they generate during flight and impact (also giving them the identifiable hissing sound on impact). HEAT and rockets are shaped charges, effective anti-tank and anti-vehicle tools.
Same with APCR and APDS. Normally for a tank using a 130 mm gun it would be better to go with APFSDS (Armour Piercing Fin Stabilized Discarding Sabot) instead of the ballistic capped APCR or dense core APCR. If you've already got APCR or APDS or APFSDS ammo you won't need AP, it's a waste.
It't not exactly good to have too many shell types compatible as you will have logistical issues with bringing up large amounts of different types of ammo.
Also the .50 commonly found on US vehicles (and a few others) is still the M2 .50Cal HMG.

Probably gonna go for heat since its better for destroying enemy tanks

A lot of vehicles don't use HESH anymore, maybe the Brits still use them.

The Brits do use them currently. Β It is unknown if they will continue to do so in the future.
as for AP ammunition for the main gun, definitely go with either tungsten or depleted uranium APFSDS. Β As for explosive rounds, if I remember correctly the latest American HE round can act as both regular HE, HESH, and HEAT (the fuze can be set so the round acts as a certain warhead)

Don't need to tell me what ammo to use, it'd be better to tell the person who's new to this stuff.
