This Photo isn't perfect, I know that... but at this moment I didn't think of how I can make the photo come out perfect and everything...I wanted to capture the moment no matter how the photo turns out.

The burning fire and the place is a symbol of remembering all the solders who lost their life's during the war in the former Yu.

I believe the young man in the wheelchair was also a soldier...

WAR ruins a country, it's people and everything else with it.

It's true there are only losers in times of war. This image, I think, captures the essence of that perfectly, irrespective of what you think of it in a photographic sense...

War only ruins what we let it ruin. The dead and the disabled should forever serve as reminder to us that survive that we live in an unfair, deadly, ugly world, controlled by the few. This reminder should keep us striving for more, seeking to never let it happen again.

This photo actually gives me chills..the implecation of the young guy in the wheelchair sitting there. What does he think about ? His friends/fellow soldiers that died in the war ? How he lost his ability to walk ? The "enemies" he killed ? I also like the colors in this photo much. The walls, the monument and the clothes represent the darkness, war creates and the shadows it leaves behind. While the flower and the children's toy on the left represent the hope and remembrance of friends and loves ones. Really a great photo, Sandra

I like it, it makes us think of the sadness it causes... photos that make people feel and think are worth everything.
