Description
This is a drawing I did about a year ago to serve as a cover for my portfolio. The original was a vertical A4 with another background. It was done in a time when I was only drawing samurai and other japanese stuff, so I felt encouraged to try to do something different for everyone who asked me: So, you only draw samurais?She's a night elf (original character) of the MMORPG World of Warcraft.

Such wonderful colours! I can't decide what i like more. The night elf or the background.
That particular pose was a great idea because it almost feels like she's looking directly at you and reminds me of a predator prowling for their next meal.
Like I said already, the colours really catch my attention. The use of the purple and orange really go nicely together.

LOVE IT. What did you use for reference? I love when people use skin tones that aren't 60% white, 25% yellow and 15% pink ^_^

Thanks! I like doing works with different color palettes than the usual.
There's a character in the Warcraft universe called Tyrande that I love. I take her as a reference to make this night elf.
