Description Weapon design commission for a Modern/Future d20 setting. It has a great "Gamma World" flavor (for those of you who have any idea what that is...).

Hiya Sarge,

Unfortunately, I can't give you permission to use this illustration directly as it was a paid commission that was done for a RPG that I believe is still being produced. But since the weapon designs themselves are not mine, feel free to use my illustration as reference, if you like.

Cheers,
Steve

yea thats what i was talking about. just the ref of the gun type itself. this ref is just more clean and i can see the details much better than other pictures you see on google. so im not going to use the illustration directly just the gun type ref :3

That one with the wooden thumbhole stock is actually a semi-auto version imported from the People's Republic of China during 1997-1998. It was an unlicensed copy made by Norinco, and was known as the model 320 (I think). The stock was so configured to allow it to be imported to the United States as a "sporting rifle." Farther importation was banned by executive order in 1998 by then-president Bill Clinton.

Thanks for the info, SSD.

It's interesting how much trivia I've come across in doing these illustrations and how diverse the variations of the weapons and copies are that are made by various countries.

Just goes to show you that no single weapon is perfect for every group...

Thanks Billy. The Uzi is not one of my favorite weapons, but you cannot deny that it has personality and it sure as hell is a distinctive gun. I had a lot of fun working on the variant with the long barrel and the wooden stock.
