The amazingly designed Azeizel for Laur because she is just one of the most amazing of friends who's been there commenting on my art forever and been my friend on Neopets etc. I owe her a picture! Besides, when I saw this AWESOME design that she did for Azeizel, I just had to draw him. So Laur, thanks for being the great friend that you are!

Gone back to pencil-sketching again, seems that my art block was mainly for computer based sketches so it looks like I'm back to that drawing and scanning stage. Been trying to improve my style a bit, get a bit more realism etc.

I really like this picture, it turned out well I think. My favourite part of the whole image is the right front paw, the one closest to you. And yes, his shoulders are a lot bigger than his hindquarters. Two reasons, one, the shoulder have to contain all the muscles needed for flight whereas the back legs are only used for running. Two, the pose is a little weird but his back is actually arched, so his waist isn't as skinny as you think!

Also tried to make a bit of a difference between how I draw female and male wolves so I put a bit more muscle on his front legs than I would if I was drawing a female for example. Other than that, colouring is pretty much the usual...

As for the background, as always, I am rather lazy so I used some brushes that I found on DA. Links to them are at the end of the image description. I wasn't sure about them but Rave said they looked great so I listened to her and here they are!

Hope you guys like, two more sketches still to colour and then I need to start drawing some more!
