elixir vitae...or more commonly known as the elixir of life.
always loved the endless-ness when thinking about magic and alchemy and all that ^^
i've always thought of love as life, and seeing this bottle and grabbing some food coloring, i hoped to bring part of that sentiment out.

and this is for jessie happy almost birthday

although not quite related...but one of my favorite openings in a book:

Ventures fall to grief;
Hopes collapse in rue.
But fire runs ‘round the wreath,
And secret dreams come true.
