It is a very weird thing but everyone has Stargate the movie. Trust me, even my Nan has it. I'm no longer watching the series now after this second part of the two-parter, because O'Neil and Hammond have gone from being active characters now so it won't be the same. They won't put them back on either, because they've already gone past that point for the Americans and are now another series ahead. Bah, everything Sci fi now is either finishing or changing. Apparently there will be no more Star Trek tv series of any type ever since Star Trek Enterprise, the prequel to it all has finished. Pfft, no more Sci Fi for me.

Start reading it then -- if you don't already. If you do, who would you recommend? I like Iain M Banks (consider pheblas, inversions, against a dark background)
I've started to read more sci-fi and given fantasy up in the process. well, almost ^

Well, I like watching Sci Fi for the special effects not just for the story, so reading just wouldn't have the same appeal for me. Bah. I suppose I will be watching the new series of Stargate, considering the rest of the cast are still in the show. Bah Meh Gah. I enjoy pondering on science-y stuff, I'm always thinking of certain aspects of real life, which could be applied in different ways, and trying to fit analogies to modern science practices, like Newton with the apple. I just written some rubbish in my journal about interplanetary/intergalactic/interstellar travel and propulsion and how it will never be a possibility.
Boredom boredom boredom.

Boredom drove me to watching superman on bbc2 this morning. I was pondering watching Hercules, but then thought better of it.

It is the stargate. Stargate rocks, so that's why I thought I'd add it into the background. Thanks very much , I thought I might add a few more stargate references too, Zat anyone?
