Old message: I'm not done with it, I just need some opinions/advice. There is something strange about their eyes, I just can't put my finger on it. What is it? Anyone familiar with Tenchi Universe will recognize this scene, I just altered the expressions just so they look like they're longing for each other. I didn't have a reference for the eyes so that explains the screwyness.

Also I'm not good with backgrounds, I didn't know what to do, so I just placed a pink/white gradient.

I thought about drawing the original background, i.e trees and whatever it was. But that would be lame and weird.

Thank you! I didn't do much tweeking with the colors because I just took the colors from my reference pic. It's so much easier that way.

I own the whole Tenchi Universe series, but can't place where this seen is. Might be after Tenchi saves Ayeka from Kagato, but not sure. Ut oh!!! Time to watch the anime again.

It's from episode 3 after Ayeka trips and Tenchi catches her, she stands up and finds herself very close to Tenchi. Perhaps this pic will jog your memory. [link]

um... pretty good. but ayeka's eyebrown doesn't quite match her eye and another thing is their upper eye lids seem to be going up, usually people's upper eye lids go down. check on those, but overall; i think it's a good picture. cause i liked it lol .

Ahh, the eyebrow, I didn't notice that. I see what you mean by that, and I think I can fix it, I'm not sure how I can fix the eyelids though, but I'll try. Thank you, I appreciate your comments.
