First Creepazoids of 2019! For whatever reason (we'll say space madness), I had a strong urge to draw hipsters. I know it's pretty hack to poke fun at hipsters at this point, but c'mon. It's fun.

Although I've seen my fair share of Gen X hipsters, too. I was there in 2005-2008, when some of my "indie" friends started making the change into full-on modern hipsters. Boycotting Walmart, bragging about drinking water instead of soda, not even having a TV--dark times.

Man, sorry for the delay! This last week was a beast, both with work and some crazy low temperatures in our area! My car didn't start for two days afterward. Had to push it to the garage next door to recharge the battery!
Anyway, yeah! I'll be pretty busy this weekend, but hopefully we can chat soon! I finished issue 12, so next week will be pretty easy--just have to do the cover and opening chapter page for the next issue, so it'll be less work than usual. We should be able to chat about Boomslang sometime then!

Yeah, thank goodness the weather is getting better! Well, it's supposed to be, anyway. We've finally made it to March, but around where I live it's still pretty nasty for at least half the month. We've also had snow in April before, so we'll see how that goes...
Sorry I haven't had time for any IM-ing! Hopefully things will die down a bit this month, but I've got a huge convention and taxes coming up, so I'm not sure how much free time I'll have...

Yeah! Sorry I haven't had a chance to get on FB--still behind from C2E2 last weekend. It's my biggest show of the year, so it takes up quite a bit of my time. It's nice that it's out of the way, though! Now I can get some serious work done!

Awesome! Yeah, just have fun with it and see where it takes you! It always helps to have good inspiration and characters to work with, and it sounds like your friends have plenty of that.
Man, C2E2 is so much fun! It's definitely my favorite show of the year, and my biggest. It's nice because a lot of the readers of my comic found out about it at that show, so they usually come by to get new issues. It's great to touch base with them and get feedback!
