Wow, I wish I was on series 30 already, but it's only series 20. If I could work on Creepazoids as much as I wanted to, I'd be on series 50 by now!
But yeah, I'm still having a blast with these! There are so many more I can't wait to do! I wish I had more time...

Sweet! Thanks, man! Since I already did a "rubber hose" style cartoon character for series 12, I figured I'd go more "Bluto" with him, which makes sense, since Fleischer did the old Popeye cartoons.

They all sound interesting, the vast array of subjects and themes seem limitless for your work. Will the Creepozoids: Insomnia edition be based on symptoms or what someone may see if they don't sleep? Unless that's going to far into detail. The 200th special will be one that undoubtedly will be impressive.

Thank you! Yeah, that's one of the things I like most about Creepazoids--the possibilities are limitless, and it gives me a chance to play with designs and styles I haven't really delved into before.

Exactly, best of all some can be a play on words as well. That adds even more fuel since you can make a pun Creepozoids set. Lost and unusual huh? Sounds like a crazy night or just another one if that so happens to be someone's thing.
Retro vs. Modern, that does sound interesting especially considering the many types of Yokai, both new and old, there are.

Hey, man! Sorry for the huge delay in replying! February ended up being a super busy month.
But yeah, puns are the best! I always loved how mini-figure toylines in the '80s and '90s had corny pun names for their characters, so I try to keep that tradition going for the Creepazoids.
Yeah! The Japanese set will be fun, too! But first up: the deluxe 200th Creepazoid!

It's no problem, days turn to weeks and time just seems to past by when you're busy.
I remember that was a huge thing in the 90's. Almost all the toys had to have a pun for their name. Some like furbies, Polly pocket,Gooey Louie to name a few. Best way to grab 90's kids attentions, I suppose. Seems like you really enjoyed drawing the Insomnia set. Hope you can revisit something like it as I'm sure there's plenty more creative possibilities there.
When the Japanese set does come around I hope I can see at least two Yokai that I found interesting. Well time to bust out the champagne (maybe even some top shelve drinks) and pull back the curtains, time for another grand reveal.
