Yep, I've been enjoying the holidays a lot! I've slacked on drawing actually, but I'm getting back to it! Hoping to finish an ink work before the 25th if I can manage it actually. You have any drawing plans?

Nice!  You gotta take some time off now and then.  And it just makes you more excited to work on stuff when you can!  It all balances out.  Hope you're enjoying your time, whether it's spent drawing or relaxing!

Yes indeedy!  With how busy November and December have been, I haven't started the art for issue 14 yet, but I did get the script for 14 and 15 done.  And I'll be starting the art this weekend!  Issue 14's going to be considerably longer than previous issues, so I'm going to have to crank on these pages to get the issue done in time for Wizard World this coming summer.  The major downside is that I'll probably have less time for Creepazoids, but I'm hoping to still get a new set done every couple of months or so.  I also want to finish the first draft of the script for Americana, and hopefully flesh out that section on my website.  So much to do!!!

And awesome that you're continuing your issues! Those should continue to be great. Americana is also a fun thing to see. Got a lot plans for all the characters there?

Yeah, more or less!  I've had quite a bit of time for getting stuff done, surprisingly--it's been nice!  I was able to work on new Creepazoids a lot more consistently than expected.

Yeah, I had quite a break there between main chapters to get the bonus material done for the second trade, but now that's finally done!  I actually haven't worked on the issues since mid-summer, I think--it feels weird (but good!) to be back in the groove! Oh, definitely!  I want to put together a sort of Americana "pitch package" section on the site, with a detailed synopsis and character bios.  Eventually, probably after The Revival is done, I want to play around with writing it as a heavily-illustrated novel.  Maybe releasing it in installments, similar to a comic, but it would be mostly prose.  Each chapter would be maybe 60 pages or so (like an "episode"), and feature between 7-10 illustrations.  We'll see how it goes!  There's a lot to experiment with between now and then, and of course a ton more work to do for The Revival, so things could always change. I probably described all this already, too, so sorry if I'm repeating myself!

No worries. There's a lot you have planned and it'd be all interesting to see! You do have a lot to experiment, and I'd definitely be up to wait and see what comes of Americana.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to it!  I want to explore new styles and evolve my art.  The Revival is great, but I have to keep the style consistent, so I don't get to experiment and explore much.  It's more about advancing my storytelling skills, while the Creepazoids are great for keeping my character and graphic design skills sharp, so Americana can be more about pushing my style further.

No worries!  I haven't been on Facebook much lately, anyway.  It's the only messenger I use, but I've been so busy that I haven't had a chance to get on!
