This is the final frame from the intro animation for Sega Addicts' season two intro! I tried to cram all the modern video game cliches in it, including:-giant guns
-chunky space marine armor
-scars
-face tattoos
-chainsaws
-dreadlocks and/or cornrows
-lots of "tude'

HAHAHAH! So bloody true! Yknow its funny, its like the 90's anit-hero comic cliches made into video game format. I guess everything really is cyclical.
I suppose the gun, space marine armor, dreads, etc are the equivalent of the early nineties sunglasses and 'tude found on the classics like Kid Chameleon or Skate from Streets of Rage

Yeah, totally! I love all that corny crap! I was a teenager in the 90s, so I totally bought into all that sunglasses/cut off gloves/backwards baseball cap "attitude"! It's so funny. I like all the comic book cliches of the 90s, too--giant shoulder pads, one cybernetic arm, ponytails, jackets, pockets, etc. It's all so classic!
