Well, like everybody else, he's re-worked to fit the plot. In this story he's a bad guy, serving Ego (Brainy Smurf). But he definitely is a badass!

Totally! They avoid him like the plague, except for Pessimist (Grumpy Bear), who wants revenge on him. Inspector was mostly responsible for the killing of all the other bears.
