"Sure, they can be reprogrammed... Im not a hacker, I usually try to write the codes for most of my creations but I try to get someone to correct it. Legal androids follow the 3 rules of robotics:
A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm
A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law
A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Laws
But an experienced hacker can modify (or even delete) their program, in a way that said andoid can change their personality completely. And they can even stop following those rules. The new personality of a reprogrammed android can be even more simmilar to a human, with desires, conflictive ideas, goals. Some even say they can feel something simmilar to love... A robot with a unique personality is extremely interesting, but potentially dangerous." -Muri
