Lincoln somehow wound up in 22XX through a glitch from one of Lisa's experiments involving time travel. And as luck would have it, he's still wearing his superhero outfit and finds himself in Maverick Hunter HQ. And it seems Axl has mistaken Lincoln for their resident brutally strong superhero idol, Ninetails. Much to Cinnamon's frustration. But you can't blame Axl. You can instead blame Lisa Loud, as she's the one who made his superhero suit in the first place.
