Description Ohohooo lookie here - a sketch that I just quite finished. I was going through my mountains of deviations and whilst beholding some Sherlock art I got inspired and drew Basil. Yeah-hah!

Yep that's Basil's "DO NOT DISTURB ATTITUDE" alright XD. His angry glare gives it more suspense.
I love your pencil skills . Nowadays I use a Wacom Tablet for most of my drawings, but once in a while I will go back to the traditional way of drawing with pencil(s). TBH, I prefer pencil to Tablet....... the flow is much more easier. But I digress . I love your style of drawing, that u show in this and your other drawings.
I was supposed to comment on this before but i never got back too it >_<

Thank you sweetness.

I used to only use a mechanical pencil, but looking over Glen Keane's work I realized that what he did with his pencils was what I wanted to do, so now I usually use 2B and 5B...or at least I prefer them, and usually use 4B and darker. c: Tablets are convenient and so I treasure mine - one can often get a beautiful amount of detail that they couldn't get traditionally.

Oh, whoa! Mountain mouse to the extreme! He looks so rugged, like he's been shipwrecked or roughing it in the English countryside. Beach or mountains, take your pick, he's just gone through a hell of a time before finally sitting to read...whatever! I like it a lot, I like the roughness of the sketch and the unkempt look of him.
