Oh wow, you actually noticed the splint on 2's leg. I thought I was the only person to ever see that. Really, you got details of other character's down wonderfully as well, but that sticks out for me.
I adore the way you got down how these characters could have been friends if they'd survived. Just seeing the thumbnail image and realizing 8 was hugging 7 and 9 made me grin like a fool. Even if 1 is looking stubborn about it, he's still a part of the group hug. The way you gave every character an individual expression to fit to their personality is just great.
In short: Awwwwwwwwwww! This is awesomely cute!
