hehe i seen this viral these days and being a person that avoids these things in general i found this one fun.
Ok so explanation:
1. Corto Maltese - still one of my all time favorites.This was one of the first graphic novels i really got, as my own.And since then i never stopped loving it. The comic book itself is old and not flashy, but it has a charm and a excellent story.
2. Asterix and Obelix - one of the best comic books in the world.SCREW manga, if you never red one of these you are lost in the world.
3. Dilan Dog - well this is a tricky one for you westerners, you have Marvel, DC and Dark Horse.We in ex-Yu, had Italian wave of Bonelli comic books.I put up DD cose he got me to do my own comic books.
4. Alfons Muha- need i say ANYTHING?
5. Shunya Yamashita - recently i got a hold of him but i have been a long time fan.
6. Ito Ogure (aka Oh! GREAT) Air Gear - i am not of a fanbase type but when i got this piece of art, of a manga i immediately fell for it.The angles, paneling, back ground, women... all tied up in one nice bundle of joy for eyes.
7. Aleksa Gajic - Serbian author that made it.He is living his dreams and that gives me hope aside from his awesome art.
8. Hyung Tae Kim - Korean revolutionary artist.His illustrations are too good for just games.
9. Frank Frazetta - the one besides Muha i put on the top.His Fantasy and medieval art has always inspired me to do some of my own.RIP.
10. Shirow Masamune - such syber punk it is plausible.GITS is the first long anime i ever watched.
11. SDL - if that didn't teach me NOTHING will.Dueling league that i owe my ever increasing knowledge of illustration and proper paneling.It is good to be a part of it.
12. Boris Vallejo - another high Fantasy artist i look up to.
13*kasai - i look up to many artists here on DA but i must put him here.He was a huge influence in last year.And from him i got the habit to doodle all the time.
14. The Great Outdoors!!! I just love to draw in perspective.It is a big challenge.
15.Women, and very special honey of mine.
