Description
His heart is as black as the stone whose name he bearsBut his soul burns with an ethereal fire
His spirit is like that of the feral wolf
With the beauty of the immortal rose
His soul is as ancient as the stars
And shines even brighter
A fallen angel is what he seems
Lost and wandering the earth
So misunderstood and mysterious
No one can see over the walls he’s built
He’s captured my untamable heart
Without even trying or wanting to
He’s so beautifully broken
And without him, so am I

Wow! He must be some guy. The last two lines are lovely and very touching and romantic.
I felt that the words "to be" would have improved the line ending in "seems". But otherwise the rest of the poem flows well and is clearly expressed. I have to be honest, my eyes start to roll when I encournter dark or high fantasy. It's not my cup of tea. But you did not get self-indulgent or too carried away and the final lines brought the early imagery back to down to earth nicely.
So... has he read this?
