Here is the classic video about this situation ______ [link]

Picture is very funny and artistic. What you said I think is normal: everybody has some inhibition.

ha ha ha fucking great video...

yeah well I have it more than others, I just can´t pee if it is someone beside me, it is not becuase it is to big or small or shaped in a funny way, it is just that I feel very weird when I pee infront of someone and then I can´t pee at all and then it is even more emberacing to just stand there with the thing in your hand trying to pee...

but I actually have a peeing though wich inspired another painting of mine, wich I use when I have a hard time peeing...

Thanx for your comments and the video...

MushroomBrain In reply to Pumpkin-Queen-Ildi [2011-01-22 13:42:48 +0000 UTC]

oooh yes that can evern become a problem at some times, there was this gay club named Pan in denmark, for gay and lesibian men (and bisexuals) and then a lot of heterosexual women used to go there as faghags or just to party without all drunk hetrosexual men hanging after them *lol*

but then when there started to come a lot of heterosexual women, the hetrosexual men followed and some of them was homophobic and there were events were the heterosexual homophobic males thretened gay/bi men at a gay club, wich was very sad...

so later they tried to re-start it as a membership club, but of cause you can´t control if someone is gay, bi or hetero or homophobe so many of the same people came back and eventually they closed Pan by this reason...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Pumpkin-Queen-Ildi In reply to MushroomBrain [2011-01-22 21:57:03 +0000 UTC]

that is very unfortunate It sounds like a big problem and probably it happens more than once. I don't think that is fair. I wish hetrosexuals would stay in their own clubs if homosexuality bothers them.

MushroomBrain In reply to Pumpkin-Queen-Ildi [2011-01-24 08:45:02 +0000 UTC]

oooh but I generally liked mixed clubs better, but then it is important to get the right kind of people here, my friend runs a queer-club here in Vienna wich is mixed, but the heterosexuals who go there don´t try to take over or dominate, but as I see it here in Vienna, there seems to be very much acceptance for homo and bisexuality, more than in any other contry I have been to...

I mean if you are in a ordinary club or pub here people seems so relaxed with homo/bisexuality, it is nor even a big issue... wich is a very stange feelig for me...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Pumpkin-Queen-Ildi In reply to MushroomBrain [2011-01-24 18:25:03 +0000 UTC]

that seems nice that it is more accepting there in Vienna. Here in Canada I think its pretty good but I have not really been to any clubs so I only hear stories from friends. I think straight people who go are more interested in seeing these clubs. Straight bars and clubs are very homophobian though...If you're a girl, guys hit on you, if you are a guy, girls hit on you. If you are a guy who looks like a girl, guys hit on you and then they are upset if they find out you're a boy. lol

Some of my friends go to gay/lesbian bars because people seem to be more friendly there. Of course some of my friends are gay or bisexual.

yeah well in sweden it depends on wich pubs you got to, some are more homophobe that others, and if your outside of the big cities it is usually kind of much harder to be openly gay/bi on a pub...

but in sweden it went kind of more and more accepted by the years I have been living,
in the 80ties there was a geneal homophobia among straight men and queer bashing...
in the 90ties it stated get more accpeted, but the police cars were still often outside Indigo (one of the bigger gay clubs in Malmö where I grew up) because of queer bashing...
in the 2000´s it stated to be genarally very accepted and for most younger people there was no problem and to be homophobic was generally not accepted, of cause you had some pubs where the old "rules" still was in affect, but generally it was ok...

yeah a lot of staight guys and girls go to gay clubs becuase they like the inviroment and the special culture there...

but it really supprised me that it was even more accepted by many people here in Vienna...

Pumpkin-Queen-Ildi In reply to MushroomBrain [2011-01-27 02:27:55 +0000 UTC]

It is the same in Canada...
out in smaller towns in Alberta, they are still pretty homophobian because most people who live there are very 'Christian-oriented' and old fashion. They are very closed-minded people.

But here where I live it is better but it is the next city that has several gay clubs and bars. We have many different races of people as well as different views of thier sexuality. So in a way, British Columbia (my province) is more open to gay-rights.

America is still VERY bad for gay bashing as well as racism so it isn't good there.

There is definatly a special culture at gay/lesbian clubs and bars, they are very accepting people.

It is a good suprise I am sure that Vienna is welcoming and so accepting

MushroomBrain In reply to Pumpkin-Queen-Ildi [2011-01-31 10:47:52 +0000 UTC]

yeah I guess it is the same all over the world, unfortunently you often get all the "non traditional" living people moving to larger cities becuase often there in more acceptnace and less controll on "so called: Non traditioal people"

yeah the gay culture devoloped in a time where it was forbidden and/or dangerous to be openly gay/bi/trans (or just not hetero normative) so a kind of cosy feeling that we are all in it together grew up at some such places and communities, I guess this will dissapear now when a lot of cultures are more open towards it, but the culture is still there theese days...
in sweden it was still considered a sickness or mental dissorder in the 70ties so not that much time has passed since it all started to change in many places...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Pumpkin-Queen-Ildi In reply to MushroomBrain [2011-01-31 21:08:38 +0000 UTC]

yes, bigger cities seem to be somewhat more open to new lifestyles...but there are problems everywhere.

I hope once the negative feelings towards people who are 'different' will disapear...even artists are looked down upon in some places because creativity isn't always what society thinks is important (especially here in North America) so here if you are an artist, it is assumed that you are gay/bisexual because you're different and it is not a good thing to be open-minded.
I grew up with the teaching from my parents that liking the same gender is a sickness...I think in Hungary where they came from that was the understanding. My parents still think this way. But as I grew up I began to see the world differently and made friends with people who were gay and lesbian but because I was friends with them first, it didn't matter who they found attractive. I wanted to keep my friendship with them, this was more important.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MushroomBrain In reply to Pumpkin-Queen-Ildi [2011-02-01 11:15:41 +0000 UTC]

yeah! artists are often in the same group...
all who are "diffrent" are often grouped together...

my mothers mother and father didn´t like my father at first because he was from a circus family *lol*

but think of this the normality norm is strong, grouping people together often comes before seeing the individual and what the individual does often is aplied to the group of people that the normality norm sorts people in...

so if one gay guy rapes a heterosexual man, the gay men group will be judged by that,
if one muslim does a suicide bombing all muslims will be judged by that...
if five gipsies (roma) steal all Romas are thieves....

by that logic I guess we relly should hate all men becuase the group we call men is higly over reprencented in Violent crimes, rapes, killings and so on *lol*

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Pumpkin-Queen-Ildi In reply to MushroomBrain [2011-02-01 21:09:36 +0000 UTC]

yes, all different people are in the 'wierd' group. I've accepted that I'm part of this group but I don't care what others think. If I like something I won't give it up just because other people don't accept it.

Oh cool!! I wish I had family from the circus but I think my grandparents and great-grand-parents were all normal....acutally my grandma was in a band, lol, but my mother is very embarressed about it and doesn't want anyone to know. I find it amusing.

Stereo-types are a very negative thing but yes, what you say is true and we should all hate human beings and hate each other because we are human. I really hate racism and sterotypes. . .Its annoying and hypocritical.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MushroomBrain In reply to Pumpkin-Queen-Ildi [2011-02-02 15:32:33 +0000 UTC]

well yeah exactly, but sometimes I find stereotypes funny, I like making stereotypes in my art since it is fun to over exagerate the stereotypes and play around with them...

I guess the problem is when you belive that the stereotypes are true???
...and that there is no exception from them...

well I guess there are pluses and minuses with living a circus life....
I don´t think my father found it very funny to only spend half a year in each contry and going to diffrent schools each year with languages he never had time to learn...

but yes I think my grandparents lived a really funny life...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Pumpkin-Queen-Ildi In reply to MushroomBrain [2011-02-05 00:18:26 +0000 UTC]

I admit I also find sterotypes funny as long as its not hurting anyone directly...

Yes, sadly many people believe them to be true yes.

yeah, life in the circus would be hard if you always had to move around constantly. Not good for raising a family.

I hope I'll have crazy adventures to tell my grandkids
