Description
Acrylics on Canvas 50 x 70 cmfull title: How to Destroy a Perfect Abstract Painting
The text:
Boy: Dad! Isn´t that one of those abstract paintings you have been telling me about?
Dad: Well I Really Don´t know, Perhaps it is, Perhaps it just isn´t
I got an Award for this piece from the Group KingdomOfSweden: kingdomofsweden.deviantart.com…
The motivation was: MOTIVERING: "Snygg, fyndig, tilldragande för ögat. Detta verk drar blickarna till sig, och tillför en extra knorr genom kontrasten i den abstrakta grunden och det konkreta och tankeväckande i skuggfigurernas repliker. Slående grepp, som definitivt gör verket minnesvärt för en lång tid framöver. Riktigt kul att se!"
witch aprox. means: JUSTIFICATION: "Stylish, witty, attractive to the eye. This work attracts attention and adds a special twist by the contrast in the abstract and the concrete foundation and thoughtful in the shadow characters' story lines. Striking grip, which definitely makes the work memorable for a long time to come. Really fun to watch!"

It's a very good "mise en abyme", sorry, I don't know the English way to say that. I love the fun-tastic mood of it !

Thanx a lot...
well not even google Translator could translate the sentence is it a french expression?

HydromelKing In reply to MushroomBrain [2013-12-12 15:34:27 +0000 UTC]
Yes it's french but the third word would be "abîme". It means a thing which is closed in a similar one, and it's begin again and again and again...

but I guess it is something positive and a bit mad ???

My explanation was not great but it's like the artist drawing himself is in his own drawing ... It has no end, like a circle and it is probably mad ! But I love some madness in art and the circle or the infinity is a positive symbol. Excuse me for writing sometimes a bad English.

Yes, but I mean your sentence is correct. I do not know a word of swedish except
happy new year which I translated in your language with the help of a translator on the web.
French is very hard to learn, (not so easy for a lot of french people too),
there are so much grammatical rules and complexity in it.

aaah I see, well, I never studied any french at all in school you could study either French or German and I choose german

HydromelKing In reply to MushroomBrain [2014-01-23 19:51:53 +0000 UTC]
There was not a lot of choice for me too, so I decided to learn English first and German for the second language,
but I find German difficult. If you had lived in Austria, german is probably easier to speak for you.

HydromelKing In reply to MushroomBrain [2014-01-23 21:07:43 +0000 UTC]
I agree with you. In English, my mind could translate from French to do a sentence immediately,
but it's not the same in German ! But I love some german specialities as sauerkraut and black forest cake !

MushroomBrain In reply to HydromelKing [2014-01-23 21:41:01 +0000 UTC]
I love SaurKraut too, they eat it in Vienna too
Yeah the german language doesn't follow the same kind of way to build sentences as english and swedish

this is awesome both as a "study" in abstract color, a commentary on abstract art, and also just as a fun piece all around.
