That's definitely the kind of art that my hormones and I could call a masterpiece. Seriously, it's splendid, I particularly love this ancient parchment effect. It really looks like it's inked on some old paper! *_* very very pirate-like. I'll never be able to shadowing like that, ooooooh, sad me! X3

Naaah, don't worry for the background, it's already cute like this. And backgrounds are overextimated anyway ( <- Girl who HATES backgrounds ) Oh, I've a lot of things to draw too, I totally understand you! X3
Not so great things but I hope to get better, I'm learning by my own and it's so difficult! XD But I've always loved this way to make shadows (and in truth I thought the eyes were coloured digitally, wow! I'm even more envious now! X3 Great job, sis!!! ) ! ;A; I've even watched a ton tutorials but..... Argh! XD

Ah well the eyes were colored digitally + textures added. Though the lines are traditionally made. I like shading like this, cross-hatching. It's so fun to ink it this way ^^
