i took the libverty of looking it up apparently shota refrences a small, cute, less masculine fictional character who is underage (age of conscent in japan is 13) and the profile on the kagamine twins software cover says 14

LOLz I don't think he is an official shota? i guess? But in the video, peopole from nicovideo are thinking he is shota because of his clothes
But the term shota (in my opinion only) doesn't really apply whatever age a boy is (obviously not to a very old peron)~Like, for example I've red a manga with a guy who was 19 yrs old., but was still considered as a shota. The very reasons are him lacking masculinity, and acting all childish and cutesy. *tries making sense here since she's not good with english*
