In this one I'm kind of screwing around with poses and folds in Clothing. I was too lazy to attempt eyes so I just shaded them over, besides I find it gives that self inquisitive look.He wanted to become an artist but had always been discouraged by a life in black and white. now he intends to escape and add color to the world.

I like the atmostphere you're trying to go for with this pic, and the inspiration behind it is very intriguing. Honestyly, I think this would have made an awesome painting.
As a sketch though, the proportions are really skewed. The legs, the hand, everything near the bottom of the image is just fine. But moving up, his arm is waaaay too long, his chest is not proportionate to his head, which is really small.
Nyeh, you tried going for something that is more complex and that's commendable. You just don't have a grip on proportions yet. Of course, with a mindset like yours, I can see you doing a lot of awesome pieces to be envious of in years to come, if it maintains your interests long enough.

The proportions didn't really feel important in this piece, it -is- more about freedom to chose and follow at will. Anyway thank you for looking!
