I did!! I've been there twice. Once for a two-week vacation, and then once to study Japanese for three months. It was amazing and I always hope that I can go back eventually.

I did indeed! Unfortunately I've lost a lot of it since I haven't really used it much, but I can still read Katakana and Hiragana, and I still understand stuff here and there. I was never strong on speaking it, though. XD

And people say English is the hardest language! XD
But personally, I think it would be hard to learn any language that's not your native one, unless you started learning it at a very young age. Sentence order and grammar and stuff like that gets all messed up, and you're not used to it. Plus, Japanese has symbols! DX

Exactly!! D:< There's Hiragana and Katakana which are somewhat simpler, but then you get into Kanji and it's just crazy. You have to know the order of the penstrokes and of course what it means and some have two meanings and... @_@
