Yup I'm TOTALLAY on hiatus, gaiz. XD I was inspired by Zerna's picture of tak in her style... When I saw it, I felt like drawing her in my own newer style. Can you tell i've been practicing since the last tiem I actually submitted my art?
I have like 4 sketch dumps that have to do with my new species. And a lot of them have to do with anatomy practice. And I found out why I've been lazy with my art; I'VE BEEN DRAWING THE SAME THING. OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. So I didn't feel like coloring or inking. But here, I tried my newer style and a few new techniques. Like Mimi's metal "ears" for example. They're reflecting the red and I used various colors for the other shading in it.
Also, I have different features on my new species that I have difficulty drawing. WHICH IS A GOOD THING!! More practisimo!!
So much for my first announced hiatus XD I'll be submitting older pictures form now onm I guess... And I made a fanart one-paneled comic to be submitted.

he he, this is incredable! I love the way you did the legs and the blending there too. The crossed arms must have been hard to draw. The only thing is just... Tak's face... It kinda looks weird and... the hair too. I'd say more volume/length to the hair would have it fixed
otherwise it's lovely

thanks ^^ Buit what PARTS of tak's face? like the coloring, or lineart? and if the lineart, what parts of that? I know I FAILED wit hthe shading and coloring in skin areas. And actually I made the hair longer than it actually is XD but with the volume, I con't disagree.

Thanks ^^ I love my new colored pencil blending tool ^^ it was rather annoying in this picture though... Couldn't blend the face without making it blue, no matter HOW MUCH I cleaned it. So now the face isn't blended and doesn't look good >.< thanks ^^ it's not often you commment on my pictures so I'm glad ^^

You know, when walt disney was a kid, I don't think his work was terribly appreciated. That's just what I heard. Accurate or not, i know many famous people today once had a similar case. but the only difference between those famous and otehrs today is that those people wouldn't be stopped because of that. Believe it or not, insults are a regular thing for me at school. Even in artwork. I'm much below popular and I get teased a lot. But i'm to the point where it doesn't bother me. I just keep moving forward, even when its rough.
