Personality:
Alert and always on her toes, Brielle is always working her hardest to make sure everything is running smoothly and that all the pups and her team are happy and getting where they need to be. She can come off as snarky and makes some sassy quips, but it's all in good nature. However hard she tries to keep calm on the surface, she tends to get overwhelmed and frustrated at times trying to prove that she is a good leader and that she's worthy of this title. She usually ends up screaming into a stuffed animal pile or taking a long walk to howl out her woes away from the pups or her team. She never wants to take out her frustrations on her team and feels guilty on the occasional slip-up where she gets a bit too snappy with a response. Despite this, she has a very warm heart and is incredibly kind, always willing to help someone out, no matter their species.
Bio:
Born in a small town home with ruby and three other littermates, Brielle was a happy go-lucky little puppy with energy coming out of her ears. Whatever she could chase, she was bounding right after it. The pups knew their father briefly before they were all adopted out, a street savvy pooch that went wherever he wanted, whenever he wanted. On the day they were supposed to all get adopted, Brielle and Ruby dug a hole under the fence and ran away, wanting to be more like their father as they explored around the town to try and find him. Unfortunately for the two pups, their tiny legs and bodies were easily exhaustible, and they had to stop several times to catch their breath and let their aching paws rest. While scrounging around the dumpster of the deli shop for some grub, Brielle was captured by the dog catcher while Ruby was deep within a can. Before Ruby could respond to the cries of her sister, the van sped away before she could even get her head out of the can.
Scared and alone, Brielle cried and howled as she was brought to no place other than Shelter 17. She was greeted by 2 year-old Lucky, who was working on his third mission for the pound. He was eager and excited, more than happy to help little Brielle find her forever home. She didn't quite know why he seemed familiar to her, but Brielle grew quickly attached to Lucky and he helped her feel comfortable while the others worked to find her perfect person.
It wasn't long before they matched her up with her perfect person, a young boy named Jordan. He was a rambunctious young boy with high amounts of energy and a habit for tree-climbing. Brielle fell in love with him the moment she saw him. She profusely thanked the pound puppies, and vowed to work as hard as them so she could some day work with them too.
She started being taken to Shelter 22 almost immediately when she was a puppy for their daycare services since Mrs. Baker worked there as a receptionist. By the time she was 1 year old, she became incredibly familiar with the current Shelter 22 team, eager to become a trainee and finally become an official member of the Pound Puppies. One morning upon waiting for instructions for their day, Brielle was surprised when a familiar red husky mix ran her way, bursting into tears as she realized that it was Ruby! She was so happy to see her sister and the two were inseparable since that day. Mrs. Baker joyfully noted to Ruby's owner that the two girls seemed to get along really well- that they kind of looked alike "They could be sisters!" to which the girls started barking in response. The two chatted for a while and joked about it, not realizing that they truly were family. But that was okay with Bri and Ruby.
The two worked diligently to move their way up the ranks, from trainee to full-fledged Pound Puppies members. Brielle was determined to repay the pound puppies for giving her such a great life and worked her tail off, becoming one of the hardest workers on the team. Due to her bravado, Brielle was recognized by the agency and was nominated to receive the Worldwide Order of Finderhood (WOOF) award. Shortly after earning her award, The original team of Shelter 22 was looking to retire or relocate as some of their own families were moving or they were getting a bit on the older side. Brielle was offered leadership position for Shelter 22 with a whole new unit of Pound Puppies, dogs they worked closely with during training; two of which Brielle had even grown up around at the daycare- with Ruby being chosen as her second-in-command of the team.
Now at 3 years old, the team is running smoothly and they're all working hard to keep up the legacy of the Pound Puppies. Brielle still looks up highly to Lucky and often goes to him when she needs some advice. One day while Brielle and Ruby are visiting Shelter 17, Slick stops by for a visit, surprising the two as they hear Lucky call him "Dad". Slick explains that it took him a few years to get over Lucky's mother, but eventually fell in love with their mother, Jillian. But much like Lucky's mother, Jillian didn't want their puppies being influenced by the "No leash, no problems!" Lifestyle, and stopped his visits before they could get any ideas. He tried to visit them one last time, but they had all been adopted- so he thought. Jillian was furious when she mentioned they ran away, probably to find him. Slick did manage to track down the scents of both the girls eventually; but since he found them to be in their perfect homes, left once again for the streets. When he fell in love again with Chip's mother, he knew this time would be different and he didn't let any of the pups know about him being their father, not wanting them to think negatively of him or take after him too much; but eventually took Chip under his wing when he realized the pup wasn't thriving as the runt. Brielle couldn't believe her ears as she gave a glance to Lucky and smiled. Fate brought her to her big brother and she felt so lucky that he was the one to find her a perfect match.
Trivia:
- Jordan's little sister has a tiny kitten, whom she took a role in raising. She acts like a mother to Tigger, and doesn't care what other dogs may think of her (especially Lucky since he's not super keen on kitties But his "nephew" eventually grows on him). He's her little baby and she loves him with all her heart. He is a great big brother to his puppy siblings later on
- She does get spayed after her first litter- She hears her owners talking about it, but she thinks it's a good idea- not wanting to get pregnant again
- Her voice claim would be Tina Fey, specifically her role as Roxanne Ritchie in MegaMind
____________
yeah RaindropLily and I have been working on our Pound puppies AU stuff again- gonna try to get more visuals for the Shelter 22 team as well as the whole facility out soon- the facility functions as both a shelter and a daycare/boarding facility.
