alex sinclair, a dc comics colorist and editor, came to my school today.i got free pizza, a dc coloring demo, and a signed batman comic.
AWESOME!
so of course i was filled with inspiration for the rest of the day~!
i decided to draw sofie again becuase a lot of people liked her, and i do too, despite my cutting her from the story...
when i clean this up i am going to try to render it in alex's method
which will either be really cool or a total failure
!oh p.s. that weird shadow is because i mess up scanning @_@ soz!

I really like the piratical feel. I'm in love with the lineart curves that you give her...subtle bends in all the right places. And the buckled shoes...forget about it.
On a character concept level, she's good. One of the easiest ways to tell if a character would be memorable is to look at their silhouette If you can tell who they are by that, then you're golden. The curves and the thundercat-esque hair make her a dead ringer.
