Description

This is part of a trilogy story, the first part is here;

rollertroller699.deviantart.co…

I could not help but base the title for this post on Amon Amarth's Destroyer of the Universe;

youtu.be/MG0uyUrHyn4

Since this post revolves around the destruction of a universe by the hands of Sir Peccatori. Also his enemies "didn't stand a single chance" and Pec got "stabbed in the eye" as a bonus.

Not only is Steven Universe my favorite recent cartoon, but Peridot is my favorite recent cartoon character, as I actually enjoy her slighty more than even Joy herself from Pixar's Inside Out. Come to think of it, I could probably say her personality type is nearly the opposite of my Hellmouth Knight. She starts off mostly on her own, tends to be a bit imaginative, generally uses logic and will express her point of view on things. However, they are also both opposites in terms of morality and complexity. Whereas Peridot's is rather complex and started off as a possible enemy who ends up becoming good by her own free will, Sir Peccatori on the other hand is a completely obvious, pure evil, sadistic VILLAIN who happily obeys the Prince of Darkness! The other contrast would be size and color with Peridot's being green and lighter hues and she was reveled to be a lot shorter without her limb encancers, while Peccatori's colors are mostly dark with some red and he actually would look rather similar to the Hulk if he lost his armor. So now with the post. I wanted my Hellmouth Knight to actually receive some battle damage, especially since he's lacks the omnipotent power from the Omniverse Void when he's inside a Universe. Yet despite the wounds, Pec doesn't care since he cannot die until Revelation. I also thought it would be interesting to have him and Peridot on the moon.

As for those of you who don't know much about my OC, I have a gallery on Sir Peccatori if you'd like to know more about him;

EDIT; For those of you who enjoy Steven Universe as well as dark plots that stray from the conventional "Happily Ever After" and had not yet returned to look at the new edit, I made a few changes to my story between Peccatori and Peridot.

STORY

Sir Peccatori: "The Swine Has Forsaken You!"

Within the world of Steven Universe, Joan of Arc blesses all sentient gems, as well as Steven, with extra protection against the dreaded Hellmouth Knight, Sir Peccatori, since a lot of gemstones in lore are said to protect their owners from harm. When Pec tried to use the powers of Satan to attack some of the gems, they were blocked by Joan's blessing and is forced to retreat. Yet not for long...

NOTE; This part of the story below has now become outdated due to some of my more recent posts revolving around this story, but I felt like keeping it here since it was originally how this one went.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was only moments when Steven woke up that he found himself huddled with his fellow sentient gems under the Apocalypse of his planet as Joan of Arc and her legions of Hydrus Soldiers furiously try and fight off the Hellmouth Knight, only to be butchered into a mess, clouding the atmosphere in a deep crimson red. Then one by one, Peccatori snatches the seven surviving gems, including Steven's friends, and force fuzes them into a platinum pendant, worn around Peccatori's neck, into the Anti-Chakra. The reason Pec wanted to become the Anti-Chakra is not only to regain a fraction of the omnipotent power he had to in the Omniverse Void, but also to torment and turn Steven's friends and family against him just for the sake of trauma. It turns out Steven made the mistake of signing a Faustian Pact with Sir Pec.

Joan of Arc just barely manages to throw Steven her shield, the one thing impervious to all of Peccatori's assaults and the exception against the Trident Kanabo, to defend himself after failing to protect him and the Earth from the Hellmouth vessels, for Steven's gem shield and bubble have been rendered useless due to the Faustian Pact he accidentally signed. In the process, Joan gets herself brutalized for standing in Pec's way. Peccatori then violently thrashes and hurls Steven across the dying universe. Steven only manages to stab Peccatori in the eye with Rose Quatz's sword yet despite the bleeding, the Hellmouth Knight hardly takes notice and carries on his assault.

After Pec yanks Joan of Arc's shield off from Steven while shoving him out of the damned universe, Joan barely manages to save him along with Pearl, Lapis and Peridot, still reverted in their gem, as Peccatori rips the Rose Quartz gem off of Steven and damns Garnet, Amathyst, Jasper and Yellow Diamond, who are still trapped in the Anti-Chakra pendant, into the abyss.

Peccatori suddenly wrenches Steven from Joan's grip before she could bring him to safety and forces him to watch Pec resurrect Rose Quartz just so he can shatter her in Steven's face. Pec then offers Steven a chance to get his revenge by offering him his Trident Kanabo and daring him to strike him with it. Yet without his gem, Steven dies of rapid over aging before he could even land a hit.

After the onslaught, Pearl, Lapis and Peridot mourn their loss in the Multiversal Refuge as Joan explains what happened during their torment.

Joan of Arc: "I'm sorry, I could not save the rest of your friends and there's nothing I can do to break the Faustian pact Steven signed."

Pearl: "Garnet, Amathyst, Steven... everyone and our home... all GONE!?..." (falls to her knees, bursting in tears and screams-) "NOOOOO!!!"

Lapis Lazuli: (also in tears) "How could that monster do this to us!? We didn't do anything to him... THEY DIDN'T DESERVE THIS!!!"

Joan of Arc: "Peccatori doesn't care, he's an embodiment of pure evil incarnate, the highest elite agent of the Devil himself! He feeds off the despair of others, and unfortunately, Steven was his favorite victim in that Universe. I also need to show you this."

Joan of Arc forms a large screen, similar to what Peridot once had on her limb enhancers, which reveals that while the three were still trapped in their gems, Peccatori resurrected Rose Quartz just so he can destroy her right in front of Steven's face all for the sake of trauma.

Pearl: "...That vile wretch will suffer for his ATROCITY!!!"

Lapis: "I will strangle that freak until he's DEAD!!!"

Peridot: "Wait, I don't like the idea of him having Steven sign that Faustian Pact just because he's evil! It can't be the whole explanation to why he did this to all of us! There's got to be something that drove him to do this! There has to a reason, a motive!"

Joan of Arc: "Are you trying to find good within the ruby encased black heart of Sir "Sinner? And besides, Peccatori sucks at striking deals without his lord giving him instructions on how to do so."

Peridot: "I started off as a scout, I didn't care much about anyone, with the exception of my superiors, and didn't hesitate to harm others for the sake of a mission. But then Steven found that I could be more, and now I became a better person because of that. Maybe there is something we could do to change Pec's ways. Maybe it'll stop him from being a destroyer!"

Pearl and Lapis however have had enough to hear about Pec and only desire revenge.

Joan of Arc: "...Peridot, I don't know what fraudulent deal Pec made with Steven and I don't know what drove Steven to sign it. However, I will explain to you what drives Peccatori to be like this after I arm Pearl and Lapis with the weapons and armor they'll need to slay that beast..."

As Pearl and Lapis train furiously, the origins of Pec unfold on the screen.

Joan of Arc: "Sir Peccatori's whole desire in life was to obtain, store, and unleash power. Yet he did not know for sure as to how he would gain such. So he choose warfare, caring little for anyone or anything. When he died, he discovered that the power he had earned was out of being a pure sinner, hence his latin name, for he craved power at the cost or morality. Ever since his death, he ascended from the abyss and terrorized the Omnivers as the Hellmouth Knight!"

Peridot: "Power over morality? That's all he ever cares about?"

Joan of Arc: "He obtains power from the universes and multiverses he destroys when he is already omnipotent in the Omniverse Void. He stores power because of the sensation it gives him as those he had consumed are tormented. And he unleashes power to show off his ego and mass an army of the damned for his lord of the Inferno."

Peridot: "I'll do what I can to free my lost friends from their suffering by his hand and I'll make that scum pay... I wish to join the Order of the Hydrus!"

Yet despite being given the arms and armor of the mighty Hydrus which protects them from damnation as long as they stay virtuous, the three were constantly harassed and bullied by their arch nemesis.

First, they were forced by Sir Pec to slay the doomed gems he had converted into the forsaken, such as Garnet and Amathyst. They were then forced to put out the misery of an overaged, corrupted raging Steven, who Pec explains that he had turned the one human they truly cared for into his means to an end, saying "Steven is now my "Disposable" "Prisoner" and "Accessory", basically each of you three wrapped up into one!" Before they were able to try and make Pec suffer for his actions.

Peridot becomes the soul survivor of this conflict as she gives up her vengeance on Pec discovering the dark path it'll otherwise lead her to, as Joan of Arc saves her from damnation. Pearl and Lapis on the other hand meet a grizzly end as their hatred on Sir Pec consumes them and they end up damned into the abyss after getting shattered by the Hellmouth Knight.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Peridot eventually became the last (unconverted) remnant of her after being saved from damnation, mysteriously to the majority of the Hydrus, and eventually made friends with two other soldiers. Her first new friend was Joy from Pixar's Inside Out, who was struggling to recover from the trauma Peccatori inflicted on during the destruction of her universe, constantly mentioning her deceased host and how she was going to avenge her. The second friend was a rather slim and pail looking mute, who unlike Joy, had a very passive nature despite his own loss as he fiddled with a golden thread during his spare time.

As they set off to make yet another stand against Sir Peccatori, Peridot feared the dark path Joy was heading for and showed her a recording of the horrors that happened to Lapis and Pearl.

Joy: "They fought valiantly against that monster. I'll make sure their efforts are not in vain."

Peridot: "You don't get it! They were consumed by vengeance! Peccatori thrives off vengeance! I lost too many friends because of this... I don't want to loose you as well!"

Joy: "...I lost Riley to him, I cannot carry on without her... On this mission, I'm making my last stand!"

Peridot tries again to get Joy to listen, yet the pale mute holds her back, aware that it is too late to change Joy. They soon find Sir Peccatori in a distant Universe and corner him on a moon near a similar looking Earth. The Hellmouth Knight glares at the three with his wide grin of anticipation.

Sir Peccatori: "It's great to see each other again in a nice old reunion (excluding the pale mute, that is). Lousy pun intended, I can see that one of you is dying to fight me-"

Joy: "I WILL MAKE YOU SUFFER YOU MALIGNANT MURDERER!!!"

Peridot: "JOY! HE'S LURING YOU!"

Joy charges in and assaults Sir Pec head on as Peridot opens fire a laser arm cannon she had constructed while the pale mute shields her from Pec's Hellmouths and demons! In the brawl, Peridot looses Joy as she falls for Peccatori's temptation for vengeance and the Hellmouth Knight claims another victim. Not wanting to loose anyone else, Peridot sacrifices her existence to save her other friend from the same fate.

Peridot: "...GO! Meet Joan or Arc on that planet and warn the source to this Universe's Hydrus Barrier! I make my last stand here!"

Unlike the first friend, her second closest friend was all too aware of Peccatori's craving of spreading hate upon others and sets off. Peridot was on her own as she faces off against the Hellmouth Knight. As the two ready for battle, Pec opens his jaws and pulls out the pendant he had sealed some of Peridot's closest friends in, only this time he had Steven replace Peridot as the heart of the Anti-Chakra and is now using it as just a mere souvenir and a means to dump salt on the wounds. Peridot steps back in horror, remembering the time she suffered the infernal agony when she was trapped in the pendant, as the screaming souls of her friends furiously struggle to escape.

Sir Peccatori: "So much for Peridot stones having the power to destroy negative energy. The only thing you are is a poor man's emerald, not much of a loss for the Anti-Chakra, so I decided that modifying and contaminating the pink gem into the same species as the green jewel on the Lucifer's crown would make my trinket more effective-"

Peridot: "-Shut your trap! And I'm not falling for any of your lures!"

Sir Peccatori: "...I can still sense you struggling to control that urge..."

Peridot: "I know that, but I don't need to be vengeful to fight you!"

...It wasn't even a fight, it was a game of cat and mouse as Peccatori had Peridot experience a similar trauma he had inflicted on Steven long before. All Peridot could do to counter his assaults is blocking them with the Hydrus Shield. So far, Peridot's tolerance against Pec's insults stayed strong, yet the Hellmouth Knight knew there was a weakness that can shatter her willpower as easily as her fragile gemstone.

Sir Peccatori: "You know, the little pink piglet and I had quite some time together before he signed his name on some bandages! Oh how that beleif that he made a new friend turned back to bite him like a pork chop!"

Peridot: "Piglet?... His name is STEVEN! And what do you mean signed his name on bandages!? Jeanne D'Arc told me he signed a Faustian Pact from you!"

Sir Peccatori: "Allow me to elaborate while you scurry away from my wrath like the little vermin you are."

Using his demonic power while continuing his assault on Peridot, Peccatori transforms the Faustian Pact Steven Signed back into bandages around his arm showing her the weakness and fragility of Steven's naivety. Peridot was soon begining to realize the sad fate Steven truely suffered.

Sir Peccatori: "You see, the porker had one of these acid trips where reality and his mind would merge into one, where it was difficult for him to tell the difference, so I took advantage of that, making him think he was only dreaming."

Pec then vomits out a grey memory orb he grave robbed from Joy and reveals to Peridot what he meant by Steven betraying her and her kind.

The orb reveals that Sir Peccatori actually countered Joan of Arc's Gem Hydrus Barrier by traveling into an alternate reality where the Cluster had actually destroyed the Earth which created Silicone Antiverse, a hostile false gem made up of DNA from Steven and shards of the entire gem race, who in turn created Plastic Pearl, a half genuine gem, and has them enter the official SU reality, just so he can kill them.

He them used the holographic powers of Plastic Pearl to create a synthetic copy of Beach City on a distant planet to lure Steven into teleporting himself to during one of his supernatural dreams. There, Sir Pec disguised himself as a substitute worker with a crippled bandaged arm at Big Doughnut where he fooled the son of Rose Quartz into believing in his lies and there was no deal or debt that was made when Steven signed his name on the bandages... Bandages that was the Faustian Pact which broke Joan's blessing and damned the sentient gems, including the Cluster, and Homeworld itself into Hell to create new legions of the Foresaken.

Peridot: "...You manipulated him..."

Sir Peccatori: "I pretended to be humble and injured to make him feel pitty for me. So he signed those bandages of the Faustian Pact, not for any deal as Faustian Pacts are generally meant for, but as an act of kindness from the loving heart he had, passed on from his mother Sow (Rose Quartz)!"

Peridot: "...You twisted his love and kindness into your selfish means to an end!..."

Sir Peccatori: "And now here the little swine and his foresaken family lie, suffering in this platinum pendant handcrafted by yours truely. Eternally regretting his foolish little mistake!"

Peridot: "HE'll HAVE RETRIBUTION!!!"

No longer able to controle it, Peridot had lost the struggle to controle her vendetta and goes on the attack! She hurls her Hydrus shield at Pec, using it as a distraction, as Peridot charges straight at Peccatori, opening fire a barrage of laser blasts! Once within reach, she then grabs Rose Quatz's sword the Hellmouth Knight was keeping around his belt for his collection. As Pec throws the Hydrus shield off, Peridot stabs Peccatori through the eye, just like Steven had long ago, and snatches the pendant!

Sir Peccatori: "You do realyze you cannot bring them back. They are all damned and there is nothing you can do to free them!"

Peridot: "There is one thing I can do to free them all."

Peridot then smashes the pendant, destroying all gemstones of her lost deceased friends, now forsaken, in an act of mercy from their torment! The shattering of the stones had the impact of sending them flying in different directions, some of them scratching Pec's face and armor. Pec's response to this is brutal as he viciously rips Peridot out of her Hydrus armor renders her into a sorry state! As the dust settles and with Rose's sword still lodged in his skull while gripping his mutilated victim by the hair, Sir Peccatori tells Peridot one last detail.

Sir Peccatori: "Would you like for me to remind you why you have been suffering a living Hell since I first arrived in your "Home-Universe?"

Peridot: "You crave power at the cost of morality!"

Sir Peccatori: "Well, there's that, yet let me repeat myself... The Swine Has Forsaken You!"

Peridot: "You made Steven forsake us you heartless soulless CLOD!"

Sir Peccatori: "I was wondering when you were going to call me that."

The Hellmouth Knight finally shatters Peridot by tossing her in the air and smashing her gem with the Mordhau strike before smothering the rest of her with his Trident Kanabo, destroying the soul survivor of the SU world. The extinction of the Sentient Gem race had now become nothing more than just another mere casualty of the eternal Omniverse War as Peccatori moves on to his next prey!

Edit; For those who enjoy Steven Universe yet also enjoy the dark elements of this post, I expanded a bit more on the confrontation between Peridot and Sir Peccatori.

Peridot, you are a hero and i imagined she said "clod" as her last word right in Sir Peccatori's face! I love how the background turned out and how bloody Peccatori is I felt a huge emotion reading the description too bad i couldn't hear Amon Amarth's Destroyer of the Universe, when i click the link it says "the video is not available".

Thank you so much!✌️😄👍
I really wanted Peridot to go full circle even further from being an ominous imposing potential threat all the way into one who throws away her well being and stands against an embodiment of pure evil, especially since most of my earlier posts with Peridot generally have her killing someone which despite as much fun as I had drawing those, no longer match all that well with her character. I wanted Pec here to be covered in both the blood of his victim and the wounds inflicted on him to make it more intense, even though I haven't seen the gems bleed. It's great that the story captured you in an emotional level since the focus on all three stories I'm making today is on the subject of vengeance and how dangerous it can be which I also explained in my previous post. Here's another link to that video, I always hated regional restrictions;

Thank you for the link, i LOOOVE this music!! Totally fitting i image every frame of the story with this music. I like when people can create complex stories and not always with a happy ending. In my comic there will not be a good ending not because i hate good ending but because i think negative events are more powerful to help others and negative memories help to face better the bitterness of life.

No problem, I'm glad that track fits, it's quite the contrast to the amicable songs in Stven Universe. I also like that your story won't have a good ending because of what you explained to me. Some of the stories my teachers read to me when I was a kid also did not have happy endings, or in one case an antagonist had a happy ending with Tony Ross' version of The Boy Who Cried Wolf, where instead of sheep, the boy and the people were the ones the wolf preyed upon and none of them escaped alive. I agree with you that some of the darker and more negative stories can help as an example to prepare one for what life can be like. I actually felt like editing the story in this post to add a bit more deph since I felt this one didn't have as much dialogue as the posts with the other two thirds of this story before.

The masters reach ascension
While the slaves must face decay

Even the original fairy tales had many gruesome elements, cannibalism to necrophilia  etc. but sadly brothers Grimm sanitised the cruelty and violence in original versions, i don't accept it because i know the early editions attracted lukewarm critical reviews, because the stories were unappealing to children, so he brothers responded with modifications and rewrites in order to increase the book's market appeal to that demographic. Very sad, when i will have a child i will read original stories. Good ending? Too easy, if you read norse myths (of course you read them ) it is immediately clear that "good" forces and energies must be balanced with the "negative" ones and viceversa. Even in tantric practices the extremely wrathful sadhanas are paired off with extremely peaceful sadhanas. I don't understand all this do-goodism, acting good and with respect yes but naively idealistic acs no!

I actually felt like editing the story in this post to add a bit more deph since I felt this one didn't have as much dialogue as the posts with the other two thirds of this story before. You did the right thing, always edit if you feel the story may benefit from it, i do the same thing wit my story.
